We prefer to
select our bucks based on the strength of their maternal side.
They usually come from old dams that have remained as the
cornerstone of a breeder’s herd for several years. The bucks
must be masculine in appearance and we like to see evidence of
“buckiness” at an early age – ie. marking themselves and vying
for the does attention. We also believe that larger scrotal
circumference will influence fertility in the resulting female
offspring.
All of the
bucks shown here are Purebred Boer goats.
